Terms of Service for WoW Reader

These Terms of Service apply to your use of the WoW Reader Android application and its optional Google Account backup and synchronization features.
1. About WoW Reader
WoW Reader is an Android application for reading EPUB and PDF books. The app provides offline reading, reading progress, bookmarks, highlights, notes, reader preferences, custom fonts, and optional Google Account backup and restore.
2. Your content
You are responsible for any EPUB, PDF, font, note, or other content you import into WoW Reader.
You should only import, store, or back up content that you own or are authorized to use.
WoW Reader does not claim ownership of books, notes, highlights, or other personal reading data imported or created by the user.
3. Google Account features
Google Account connection is optional.
If you enable Google backup or synchronization, WoW Reader may use Google Sign-In, Firebase Authentication, and Google Drive application-data storage.
WoW Reader requests Google Drive application-data access only for its private backup and restore functionality.
4. Backup and restore
WoW Reader may back up supported application data, including imported books, reading progress, bookmarks, highlights, notes, reader preferences, and custom fonts.
While reasonable efforts are made to provide reliable backup and restore, no backup system can guarantee that data will never be lost, corrupted, or unavailable.
Users should keep original copies of important book files and other important data.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use WoW Reader to:
violate applicable laws;
infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights;
access accounts, services, or systems without authorization;
interfere with the operation of WoW Reader or connected services;
misuse Google Account or Google Drive features.
6. Third-party services
WoW Reader may use services provided by Google, including Google Sign-In, Firebase Authentication, and Google Drive.
These services are subject to Google's own terms and privacy policies.
7. Availability and changes
WoW Reader may be updated, modified, or improved over time.
Features may change or be discontinued, and uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.
8. Disclaimer
WoW Reader is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law.
No guarantee is made that every EPUB or PDF file will display perfectly on every device or that every backup, synchronization, or restore operation will always complete successfully.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the maintainers of WoW Reader are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from use of the application, loss of imported content, device failure, or third-party service outages.
10. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated when WoW Reader or its connected services change.
The latest version will always be published on this page.
